Unless you can reach 2018 TV yourself, and if nobody was kind enough to make some
awesome pdf like I did for K, there's no known documentation of service menu.

Well, now I'm a bit more convinced but still have no clue on how to enable it (if possible)

2017 too but mid-range, one letter per year was too simple...

Ok found this article
https://developer.samsung.com/tv/develo ... 0030/index
Interesting smart view is what acts as the service that enables SDDP as per the article

Did you take a look at
websockets stuff? Looks related (your article is about older models).
You can grab more infos there:
https://github.com/Ape/samsungctl
Won't help from TV off though (but that's the only case).

Ok so just for FYI I remember the Remote app that one can download from here and used Web sockets, so I tested it against the TV over IP. When it was ON this is after enabling CES Concierge Mode in the service menu etc.
It would return a error of 6001 can't connect. Reason behind CES options being enabled is that I read numerous articles stating that they showcased SDDP at CES so there was hope
I have tried all 'safe' options I can think of in the service and advanced menus. Still can't connect, interesting if I do a port scan on the TV IP address while it's on it reports 0 ports open which is odd as its wired and can connect to the Internet or other devices on the LAN.
I can't belive this isn't a sw setting somewhere....
I have 'power on using mobile devices' in the network settings in the On Screen Menu set to on, if it worked the way its saying in the settings... I should be able to power it on when it's off

Scanning the network further I see it is broadcasting URNs for screensharing, media device etc i.e urn:samsung:screensharing
I don't know maybe it has a firewall in the software or something?
