not suprised, they don't have clue about software. that simple, they will check few things: power supply, panel display, and main board. if one of them is broken, they simply replace.

I put warning on Compatibility list about that. I think there is nothing to do.

Sorry guy, you cannot stop the fate. We have discovered new way to flashing and backuping, In-System Programming, that could recover your TV. But I think it's little late.
