what TV models should i buy to replace this one? (targetting the class D 6000 series with some exploits working)

From D series? I would choose D7xx-D8xxx because D6xxx has some full HD issue in 3D mode. If 3D doesn`t matter for you then maybe models above D65xx are ok. Depends frm price you`re going to spend. If price doesn`t matter, why don`t you chose E series (preferable models E(S)6xxx - 8xxx) instead of buying "old" D series? Or maybe F series, models of 2013 y.?

Ok i meant buying new TV for having Hotel hack and smb access working, smb access is the ultimate thing i need to get (and hacking is mandatory for that ...)
I mean how to figure out before buying a brand new tv that you get the right firmware for hacking
btw 3D is totally optionnal, the tv is only for giving course to students (playing movie, display powerpoint ...)
Protocols used to retrieve media are unix protocol NFS/SMB/FTP
What a shame samsung tv are not native enginnered device to use these protocols

Sorry to dig this thread up, but one year later, does the things gone better ? I mean can i install samygo or root the tv?
