Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
I want to ask my question once more, Is there a way to NOT to have to run SamyGO widget in crash state at startup?
Is there a permanent E series root available that after every crash, user have not to run SamyGO widget again?
Its very bad and time consuming to train user to run SamyGO widget on every TV crashes!
Is there any other STABLE and automatic root method available for E series or not?
Is there any other folders on TV(like init.d) that with helps of it, TV can run located startup script on that folder or not?(In case of losing root)
Thanks in advance for your great help.

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Can I write a script and copy it to /etc/Scripts folder?
So whenever root is not available, TV execute javascript codes that are located inside of SamyGo widget(I'll copy them all in this startup script).
Is it possible or not?

Each time you change the files in the directory /mnt you must archive file itself samyext4.img (it locate: /dtv/<usb with root data>/SamyGO/data/samyext4.img).smart_lover wrote:I want to ask my question once more, Is there a way to NOT to have to run SamyGO widget in crash state at startup?

Then in the event of a crashes you only need replace the archived file (samyext4.img) on the media with the USB root.
For me it works

How can I archive it? But I do not need to change anything in /mnt at all.wluczykijwf wrote: Each time you change the files in the directory /mnt you must archive file itself samyext4.img (it locate: /dtv/<usb with root data>/SamyGO/data/samyext4.img).

For me it works.
But my main problem is automate the process of executing SamyGO widget and whatever it does during executing of it(in case of loosing root).
Removed USB Key
Hello I accidentally removed the USB flash drive from the TV does not start samygo , what can I do help ??

For only a report.
In this post wrongly I blamed lib about problems obtaining root.
However, my final conclusion is that the problem was probably caused by a change in the language of the menu (PL->EN and EN->PL).
Then when you turn on the TV there were serious problems with getting root.

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Tried for at least two hours. Root won?t work on my Samsung UE46F5300. Firmware T-MST12DEUC-2111.1. Widget says "Samy go activated", but after reboot nothing changed. FTP not possible too.
Also tried solutions from "In case of issues" (First Page). Can you help me? Maybe Sam.log from USB will help. Thx!

Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
sam.log shows that ftp DOES work, root DOES work
Your problem is with network setup. No idea what you do wrong

I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
