Hello, my F8000 FW 1118 suddenly this morning lost root.
Up to yesterday evening it was properly working with USB widget in outostart (tiker).

After TV boot, the USB widget seems to load correctly (the two debug images appears as normal) but telnet and ftp are not loaded.
After about 1 min, the remote remains unresponsive to any button (even if the IR red led blinks normally) and I need to unplg from the wall.

After unplugging, TV works normally but USB widget is not loaded; I swithed off from remote and on again , widget started again automatically but still no telnet and no ftp and after 1 min again remote unresponsive.

I unplagged again from the wall and removed the auto-tiker.
After that I loaded the widget manually.
Also in this way the widget seems to start normally but no telnet and no ftp; this time the remote remains working and I tried again to load manually the samygo widget. This time I received the following messages on the TV (see attached):
Existing '/dtv/SamyGO_Injected' ? [OK]
-SamyGO activated!!!
- Widget will be closed automatically in 0 seconds and 100 milliseconds!!!!
At this point the image does not disapppear and remains fixed; the only remote button that responds is the OK and when I press it I get:

SamyGO not activated! Check for errors!

To restore normal TV function I need to unplug from wall and leave auto tiker unselected.

How can I debug this ? I noticed that the MY ON TV service is not anymore working (stopped by Samsug), might this behaviour be associated with this ?

well probably you need to re-root. I think you have broken your usb OR your usb is simply broken

Hello friends, my girlfriend has an UE37ES6300 with T-MST10PDEUC-1042.0
i saw that 1042.0 is the last firmware there the skype root ist working.
but in this tutorial i can only find root with latest firmware without the skype method.
can someone help me and tell me what i have to do for skype rooting?
is it the same like to rooting the h-serie?

I will check my USB later today when back home.
Is there a way to save the root configuration on my TV and symply re-root without modify what I have done since the first root ?
