Want to find a pattern

Code: Select all
Verifying telnet access to 192.168.0.15:23 .. (49/50)
Last action aborted ...
There's definitely a problem with Telnet access in latest PVRdecoder, even if you don't want to admit it

. This guy freshly rooted his TV yesterday using donor's method. Ok, there's no more complaints in PVRdecoder thread... since I re-uploaded v1.5.3.4.
You want to know the amount of concerned users? See how many times old version has been downloaded from lastest reupload (after forum fail)

I'd say approximately 47/205 = 23% users

, not negligible

When you close your laptop, it enters in sleep state, shares are no longer accessible to TV, Virtual USB freeze because it cannot see data anymore. Totally normal, PC has to be running, and awakened.
If you mean that Virt.USB freeze when PC is awakened after being is sleep mode, that's normal too, "breaking" shares needs TV reboot (or at least Samba script stop/restart from webif: http://YOUR_TV_IP:1080/cgi-bin/test.cgi)

Meaning that the PVRDecoder does work now ?!
Zoe, I am denying nothing, I am just bewildered. During development, H-mode telnet was never an issue here on my system, or on sectroyers system.
Also if I turn your 23% upside down, we have 77% working ones .. I need to explain the difference to fix anything in a sensible way.

No problem I always trusted you

. If that can help, I believe that except erdem and his E having veeeery old fw (and SamyGO?), only F users using donor's method reported this Telnet issue (=no Telnet connection at all in latest PVRdecoder=49/50 etc...).
H problem is another one, port 3123 is just wrong
