UPNP? or nfsAnoniempje wrote:have not tryed yet, more because i have a mediastreamer that i use.
I like more to see some more option maybe internet on TV etc thru X11 perhaps?
for what?or the valdeuc 3000+ firmware?
no thats all, inside the virtual usb you can access your network shares, you can view all media formats as like on usb, fast forward, continue movie where you last time stopped.....
dunno what the options are in this state... what do we need to test more besides the Virtual samygo drive?
you have installed the samsung "all share" on windows server?Anoniempje wrote:i have a server 2008 (windows) with a harddisks share thats what i use for playing movies and music.
webbrowse? and bluetooth networking (why not wlan?)I like to see on my tv a option for a browser even beter with a bleutooth conection.
i'm not sure, but this sounds that you like to get a widget for intern@tv?is there away to get option on the stick and see them in the menu of the tv? or how does that works anyway?
https://opensource.samsung.com/ -> tv&video you find toolchains and sourcesAnoniempje wrote:yeah well i really have to say i dint have any research done yet how the tv works... is my root access also in the applications from samsung? in that case i see plenty options user modified GUI's and a new menu named SamyGO with linux tools and webbrowser. As i can see now the samsung have a mainboard like a PC with Linux as a background. There develop tools to get TV?
bluetooth in extensions pack is more for transfere photos to tv, but just works with some dongles, so don't buy a new one if you already have one you can try if it works or not...Well would it be nice to have a web browser in your TV and that you can type with a Bluetooth keyboard. (my tv is connected with cabel).webbrowse? and bluetooth networking (why not wlan?)
and how do you watch the movies on tv from the windows share???No: just plain ass old window shareyou have installed the samsung "all share" on windows server?![]()
but the interface is limited there is also a sdk from samsung for widgetsi'm not sure, but this sounds that you like to get a widget for intern@tv?
Yes: i think there are more pottential things todo with it.
there is a youtube widget for some models, look into smarthub/intern@tv at your tv.....
i see on your webpage that you have youtube tools for the TV do they work also on this board? and how do you start them?
is there no option we make a SamyGO option in the TV menu? with applications you normally see with X11 ?
think sdl based stuff can be implemented.....
i shall test the nfs for you btw.
if you mess around with the core scripts (rcSGO and rc.sysinit you have good chances to make a brick) btw. changes/new scripts in etc/init.d/* is relative safe if you are careful. you can always kill a linux system during boot.....Anoniempje wrote:[Thru a mediaplayer (acryan.com) i go to the network share and there i have my stuff.
Gonna look what the other options are.. can i brink the TV if i mess with the stick? or is thast only firmware, and can i see the firmware in linux or is that a hidden section.
goodnfs test is succesfull.
yes you can always do new things, needs just an idea and time to realize it....for the rest i going to look for more cool options. i really think theres more we can do.
not by my site, extensionspack seems to work with new modules, script is executed at boot, so i did my "job"edit:
what do we need to test more or are we done?
