Because Samsung doesn't want any letter from LG in their model names, they will skip L series as well
The reason is a simle rule for avoiding confusion (we use the same in our company):
G can be easily be misinterpreted as C
Most likely they will also jump to J because "I" and "L" can be also misinterpreted.
