Hi,

So I can confirm that the patch does not work on H serie (at least on 2781 firmware).
I tried another time today : I think the EDID is patched because I noticed that sound level was different when applying the patch => but DD/DTS menu still greyed.

Ok, you should try to downgrade to a lower fw...

I remember people had reported some "no more Dolby Digital anywhere" bug which occured on a specific fw: viewtopic.php?f=77&t=8688#p70155
Maybe that's where Samsung *tried* to fix that? I guess any fw prior to 2600 could tell us

Maybe I will try to dongrade to 2130.
Is it ok to root with the same protocol with this firmware or must have to use the skype method ?

You can keep same rooting, it should even remain after downgrade.

Ok : I have just downgraded successfully to 2130 and still does not work.
The behaviour is a little bit different with passthrough patch : now, when selecting DD, it outputs PCM (no more internal tuner output).
But without passthrough patch the DD and DTS selection still greyed.

I think I will try the 1108.1 firmware (1st posted) and if it still does not work, I give up...

Whatever happens, do not remove root again, there are many other interesting patches
