I notice that there's a new firmware, 1019.2, available for my f-bluray.
If anyone manages to root that firmware, please let me know, so that I know it's safe to upgrade.

Thx.

EDIT: since I had my bluray on service - I tried 1019 since I guess they would start to try that as well. Then they installed 1020 as well... But luckily enough it seems root works on booth these.

Hi guys !
I'm getting more confused as long as I read more and more posts....

I understood now that SammyGo does not remove Cinavia...it is just the first step: rooting the player.
So I followed the procedure of loading the files into the USB as follows:
1.- Put the USB drive into the player.
2.- Turned the player on
3.- Went to Smarthub and saw SammyGo
4.- Run it and got the following output on screen

Image

5.- Turned off player
6.- Removed Pend drive from player
7.- Restarted player
8.- Started Web Browser

What about now? I've tried to telnet after this with no luck at all in none of the ports....

I also don't know what Autostart means in this particular case and how to set it up....

Model of Bluray: E5900
FW Version: 1065

Thanks for your feedback in advace!
Regards,
Hernan from Argentina !

You NEED the usb drive attached to the player for root to work!

For now you can not remove the usb drive if you want root access plug it back in and try again!

Also if you run widget multiple times do you still get red NO at:

Code: Select all

/dtv/SamyGO_OK

I have tried once again, with different results...
1.- Put the USB drive into the player.
2.- Turned the player on
3.- Went to Smarthub and saw SammyGo
4.- Run it and got the following output on screen (same output as before !)
5.- Turned off player
6.- Left pendrive on USB port
7.- Restarted player
8.- Started Web Browser
9.- Now I could telnet into the player and run the Cinavia patch apparently ok bit I did not work

Will try again...

Okay so it means you have root. If you have problem with Cinavia patch itself post log in Cinavia patch's thread :)
