use samba or fusesmb, but not both at the same time.

what OS do you run for samba shares?

I checked doing //127.0.0.1 and the folder is there for sure.

What's the best ? Fuse or Samba ? Wich one should I choose ?

samba.

check for win7 and samba shares here on forum. you have to set windows correctly. simple sharing etc.

Should I rename the file 03_03_nfsmount.init to 03_03_nfsmount.init.dis also ?

yes, if you don`t have nfs server in your network. This may speed up your samba a little.

Hi there,

I'm now trying to use extensions on my patched firmware.
I have changed the .sh file, but my TV doesn't mount the samba folders.


I have the same configuration that i have running throuh media content -> Games because i'm actually running from that folder on the .sh script.

On my /mtd_rwarea/SamyGO.sh

I have this lines:

/mtd_tlib/GGame/SamyGO/rcSGO
exit


What I'm I doing wrong ?

Hi there,

I think i'm on a good way here.

I've flashed the firmware with the advanced option.
Edited de .sh file so it runs extensions on start.

I did not tried yet because i'm not at home, but remotly with access to home PC, i have telnet and if I ran this line:

The extensions start -> i lost telnet connection -> open it again and it asks for password -> i putt the SamyGO password and thats okay, but it seems to me that i have some problem, because after some time the connection is lost...I might have some bad configuration.

Can someone help me out here ?
