sob.. yes i try and pray ! but samsung is very bad! my tv is 4k but don't play h265 I will have to buy the evolution kit i read if the new H evolution kit decode x265 but the root is not possible ..
I'll wait for the root is now more important oscam.

many thnx sectroyer your hack working fine with firmware version T-2221.0-FXP9DEUC into 55f9000 TV.
FIrst step - enter in service menu and disable the OTN option
Second step - prepare usb flash with your file ( i've non MST TV)
Third step - flashing Sammy go and start icon sammygo autostart.

open all ftp telnet... and now time to install oscam

ps: after poweroff TV sammygo not restart error: dtv/saamygo inected [NO] and is need rebuild all step for reopen all services

for clarity:

1) if necessary always usb device connected after poweroff the tv with root file for start sammygo autostart for ftp telnet etc.. service?
2) if after root install for start oscam is necessary to start sammygo autostart first?
3) is normal if after root with sammygo my tv autopoweroff if switch from dtt to sat?
4) if possibile to refresh firmware from zero for delete all root method? (service menu?)

I can't thank you guys enough. Like a few people who didn't get here until it was too late, I didn't change the OTN firmware update in the menu so it updated to 2000.2 and I had no way or rooting. Did that as soon as I could and donated to the cause. Rewarded with access to this section. It took a few attempts to get root working on a F5300 but in the end it did. T-MST12DEUC

Another few attempts to get PVRdecrypter to work properly which was resolved by doing more reading on the forum and finding out it was a permissions chmod issue stopping access.

Working fine now (finger crossed!). I had originally formatted my usb drive as one partition for EXT3 for recordings and the other as FAT for my mp4 and mp3 files. If I use one of the patches to allow access to different drive formats (NTFS) can I use this format for the whole drive as NTFS to record to and copy media files to?

Hello all, can some body help me to root my 40f7000at (installed firmware ver. T-FXPDEUC 1118.0). I can`t find widget SamyGo-F in all menus of SmartHub. I uninstall old ver of SamyGo, reinstall Skype and reenter in skype account, disable OTN Support in Extended Service Menu, I format my flash drive to fat and unpack two folders to it (SamyGO-F for non-mst & SamyGO_Data with 4 files). I connect my flash in all tv modes (on and stand-by) but can`t find widget in smart hub and "more app" menu. What should I do now?

UPD. USB Flash was disconnected. I login as develop without password, go to "More Apps" menu and connect USB Flash - voila, SamyGO-F widget now accessible.

my tv only mst install and if I unplug usb and restart tv, non root. non-mst not install. everything ok but no data warning.
and screen different. and my tv is not mst (UE55F7000 - T-FXPDEUC_1118)

edit: samygo.zip not work. SamyGO-F-SM-AutoStart-USB.zip working.
but, every restart after plugin usb and start root again.
not root restart.
and my tv has not outostart wingets menu.

edit2: I find to samygo autostart. My tv under smarthub > subtitle menu.
but every restart otomatic seek usb disc and install again. If usb disc unplug, not start samygo.
what can I do??

I've just installed the newest firmware v2101.0 on my F-series (F6270) test tv.

At first I was able to get the SamyGo App to show up, run it and lock into the tv via ftp. But upon another reboot, the SamyGo app will no longer show up in the "more apps" section. While I still have root access at that point, the tv then suddenly turns off after about a minute.

This now happens every time as long as I have the usb stick still connected to the tv. When I disconnect the usb stick, the tv no longer shuts down - but I also don't have root access anymore.

Hi, first of all I want to say thank You, for perfect working root solution, for new version Samsung TV.
Personaly I have got Samsung UE40F8000 v.1118, and I have managed to install SamyGo root and OSCAM.

I have only one question: Is there any way to set a secured account (user +password) for built in ftp sever and stop anonymous login, or at least a way to stop/start server via telnet, web, or ssh.
It seems very risky to me, anybody connected to my local net to have ftp access to my TV. It's enough to write IP of the TV in Windows explorer and You can delete, move or copy files from TV's OS.
