is there a possibility of a downgrade the current firmware?

I would like to know if downgrade is possible too.

I have two 32F5500 TVs - each had different firmware.
FTP worked on firmware 1117, but did not work on the 1118.
Just for kicks: I updated firmware on the 1117 to 1118... and now I get "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused" on that one too.

Conclusion: don't upgrade the 32 F5500 to 1118... or if someone can help that would be great.

You did try to start Skype? Does it start?
Did you try to root again?

I have tried Skype and it constantly looks like it is loading.
Likewise I have tried to root again. Two ways, one with the developer account and the other via the samygo_usb method.

In both cases samygo says that it does everything ok. Upon rebooting however... ftp port open but everything is actively refused.
No luck with telnet, ssh but port 80 is open with 404 or 403 errors no matter what I try.

It looks like Skype autostart is broken. Try this, Start Skype, wait a little on the loading screen and then exit Skype. Now try FTP, it should work now. If you have FTP access now, then the problem is that Skype autostart is broken. I fixed this issue by resetting the TV (only Smart Hub reset didn't help) and rooting again following the guide.

Unfortunately starting and exiting Skype still had no luck (Skype 3.130081 on both).
I actually did do a service reset on one of them about an hour ago.

Do I need to log in as 'develop' for ftp access? Either way it is not working but I keep trying all permutations.
I have also tried with the US and AU app regions.

1. uninstall SamyGO
2. Uninstall Skype
3. Install Skype (via App Store)
4. Start Skype (you can login or not, doesn`t matter. Just wait for splash screen and check (if available) autostart).
5. Install SamyGO
6. Don`t touch Skype anymore
7. Reboot TV.
8. If no ftp, then launch SamyGO install widget once again and chose "Autostart repair"
