@Murdock I am looking forward for your torrent stream functionality. It will be amazing. I can suggest and contribute with small desktop utility written in python which can send some magnetlink as POST request to your nodejs listener, and then the nodejs can run the video player targeting the downloaded file after some downloaded size is reached. Our desktop app can receive an response something like id of the downloaded file and once we finish watching the movie we can press stop button on that app and again through node js we can remove the transfer and file. What you think about that kind of idea, or implement the same idea directly on the TV and using only browser to control it? What about acestream support through nodejs?
Thanks

It seems I'm the only one having problems launching TVProgramInstaller.
On Linux I get this error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
? File "TVProgramInstaller.py", line 25, in <module>
OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'widget'
Failed to execute script TVProgramInstaller
While on Windows I get this
I'm surely doing something wrong but I don't know what

This windows error say that the port 80 is in use. Please check your firewall settings or find the other program that use port 80.
If you are a donor then you can find SamyGo app installer in the forum.

SlimFlix Test (Standalone Torrent Player) On Samsung Smart TV F
The NodeJS server is running on the TV too from an USB Flash drive. (Running from USB HDD the program is more stable.)
Uses peerflix-server node module as the torrent downloader and streamer. (I'm limited the node memory usage to 64MB, torrent slot limit 20/5.)
Need many things to do for stability and functionality.
