First D-series updates

To see if you are transmitting:

1. download the eventghost software http://www.eventghost.org/downloads/
2. run the software and in the configuration add the Samsung TV plugin
3. see if it will turn on/off, volume up/down etc.

That software works fine on my D8000, I can turn the TV on/off, mute, set volume etc. At lease it will tell you if you've got the right transmit pin. Also, I just use UART mode with eventghost. I too have no idea what LOGIC mode is.

Folks with C series have rooted their tv's using both custom made apps and hotel mode in the service menu. I tried the custom app route but permissions have been changed so the app could not write to where it was supposed to. Have not tried the hotel mode yet.
