So does anybody have an idea how to solve my other problem, recording to my NAS?

I saw mmhorda say he records to NAS .. We might have our minions capture him, and take him to our
secret interrogation-facillities and feed him pizza and cola until he divulge all his secrets.

I would actually want to know too .. My current setup is a 128 GB USB-pen in TV, and PVRDecoder then decodes to NAS.
Much better setup would be to have libPVRtoTS.so save its output directly to NAS using NFS.

I just need to research exactly how ..

I just manage to download and decrypt my first film. How do you do it to the NAS? Are you running this script on the NAS directly? But for downloading I need the TV to run right? So I need something which switches it on automatically and then switches off again when it is finished. Like a php script or something. Would like to connect the TV to my beacon so when I enter the room my TV switches on.

You can remotely turn your tv off but AFAIK you cannot turn it on:)

Right, or I implied the usage of a "normal" remote control within 10 meters of the actual TV
Routing IP-telegrams using the internet, or whatever you are suggesting, dident enter my mind as a "common" feature
