But there is a problem...
The tv asked me to do a test... and the samba share haven't passed the test... write speed 0 reading speed 0
The samba directory mounted has reading and writing authorization, and i'm using a gigabyte lan...
Check with ftp client there is

Code: Select all

.PVRPfmChkLog
on your USB. Just copy it to your samba share and it will stop asking ;)

I think FileZilla doesn't see hidden files by default.
Anyway just copy it after having disabled mount bind and rebooted TV

Code: Select all

cp /dtv/usb/sda1/CONTENTS/.PVRPfmChkLog /dtv/usb/sdb/smb/192.168.2.33/REG_TV

i copied the file from usb to samba dir..

Yes because you DID have some recordings there :) Best is to remove ALL recordings and then before mounting copy ALL files from CONTENTS directory :)

1) disable samba mount
2) restarted the tv and recorded from tv to usb
3) deleted from the tv browser the recording
4) copied from CONTENTS folder all the file (.PVRPfmChkLog and NewBoard.ss) into my samba share (REG_TV)
5) enabled samba mount for recording
6) restarted the tv
7) waited for samba mout and then tried a recording...

same error, tv asked me to repair the device...

Ehhh pointless it looks. Now you will have to try is to create a xfs image (for instance 1TB) and mount it over samba this HAS TO WORK :)
