Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Ok, another question in anticipation of samygo patched B-FIRBPEWWC firmware becoming available at some point.
Will puting the new DNS into our routers DNS server allow the player to find the files?
Or.. Is the only way to chane the DNS setting in the factory menu of the player?
If so, is this only possible via a serial connection (eg USB FaNet cable)?
Buying 2 FTDI usb to serial cables is a bit more expensive than i am willing to do for something that isn't currently supported and may not work.

I just execute the process & it worked pretty well, BD-D6500 (Mexico), I recommend to do via network cable instead of wireless.
Thanks SAMYGO

Hi, I have BD-D5300 bluray player that I would love to downgrade to pre-Cinavia firmware. It was with firmwere v 10.22 with Cinavia and now is with v 10.30 again with Cinavia.I tried to downgrade from both DNS but from DNS:149.154.159.134 message was "no software for upgrade currently" and from DNS:46.4.199.222 first time message was "Failed to connect.Error code:400 Invalid Parameter. The latest software is not yet available." and second time conection stuck.
Help Please!!! Thanks!!!

I have a 3D Blu-ray Home Theater system( HT-D6750) and I am going crazy with the CINAVIA error.
I made the mistake of upgrading to the newest firmware and have been since then blessed with the CINAVIA error.
I followed the steps as shown in the first post and installed B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 succesfully.
Unfortunatelly CINAVIA still remains.
I also have the problem of not being able to perform a downgrade using the USB. it always give me a NO FILES FOUND error.
Please HELPPPPPP!!!
I need to downgrade to firmware 1010 or to a firmware that has no CINAVIA.
What do I do?
Thanks and happy new year to you all.
Here's how to root it: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rootin ... cpu_models
and here's how to patch exeDSP: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/ExeDSP ... Free_Patch
After you install the SamyGo widget, you need to unplug your BD from the power outlet for 5-10 seconds, and then plug it again and turn it on.
PM me if you need help
I have the same model of Samsung 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater, HT-D6750WK
Also as instructed, changing the DNS I installed B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 which would replace my current 1016 firmware
After that I went onto Smart Hub and tried to install the SAMYGO widget following this: http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Rootin ... cpu_models
However, after it downloads and I enter Smart Hub again, I got a new widget called BrokenTV.
I'm really puzzled here, since I have found that many people before have solved the issue with the same firmware B-FIRHTBEUC_001116 and my device should be supported. Could you verify that?
I'd appreciate your help and I'd like to know If I'm missing something here.
Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Newbie here. I have BD-E5700 ZC with latest cinavia fw. Is there a way to downgrade it to a cinavia free fw?
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

hello all,
I'd really appreciate your help
I have a Samsung Home Theater D model HT-D6750WK, but it seems it's not supported since I'm getting the BrokenTV widget
Anyone could help me and let me know if this model will be supported?
I'm stuck now, thanks

Re: BD Firmware Downgrade (SamyGO Proof of Concept)
Reporting no firmware available in server.
I did everything described in previous posts and always I get info: "No software to upgrade currently"
I did reset to player, changed DNS in both player and router to 149.154.159.134, switched off for 5 mins unplugged from power source and always get this info.
Please any hints how to proceed?
Model: BD-D5300-ZF
Software: BSP-D5300ZF-1030.0
FW: SWU_B-BRCM53BSP_001030_I05_ES000KS000RS000DS000BS000_121019
