Recording device is needed (i/o error otherwise)!

For everybody who didn't have success with original method and "Auto On Timer trick". It looks that in order to make it work you might have to also set:

Menu/System/General/Samsung Instant -> ON

It seems no, not a matter of model but fw 2134 is too recent. You still can try, who knows, with a bit of luck

You should try auto on timer

it might work

You might also have to set "instant on" to ON

it's rumored that without it it might not work

is there any work being done for the tv's with T-NT14MAKUC firmware? i have that firmware on my tv and im willing to experiment/test on it for the team. id ship it to ya but the shipping cost is more than the pile of crap is worth.

Recording device is needed for root, but you do not want to waste two USB sticks? There is a solution. Make two partitions on the stick, format both with fat32. Insert stick into TV, it will be recognized as two USB devices. Format one of them for recording and use the second one for the SamyGo files.
Successfully tested on my TV.

Did you try Auto ON timer trick? it might work
