No, you can detach it definitely
About Virtual USB, it is possible to disable it if you don't plan to use Samba/NFS.
Otherwise now Telnet seems to work with no problem on port 1023/2023 so you may use one of these.
Did you try to decode any recording then?
Ok, happy it works now, not really a surprise
edit: be aware that if you reinstall evokit, it won't work anymore...
But sorry the TV with EvoKit work much better and faster!!! The Hub too
And i can?t recode the HD Channel?s, thats a great problem

I know, but we have no solution for now, due to nearly no experience with evokits and their exoticism

Look here right side the HD Option Channel?s:

all this Chanels can?t record without the EvoKit I don?t now why!
The TV says no rights to record this .... With the Evokit no problem!

Sorry but I personally have not sufficient knowledge, so I can't promise there will be SamyGo extensions for evokit in near future...

If we were able to have juuso and mcreuter communicate a little.
It was only recently that the research on how to root a TV with Evolution-kit installed was completed.
This may in fact be a minor issue for juuso to fix, if only he is served the right debug-information from mcreuter ..
I remember juuso had me supply the output of a number of telnet-commands during the development of the PVRDecoder.
Hopefully he can do the same thing with mcreuter, now that mcreuter offers his assistance
Whatever needs to be done inside the PVRDecoder to support Evolution-kit, I am ready for you juuso
Oh, and upcomming root for H-models too .. I suppose we would have to purchase a H-model for Bugficks to work with so we can have a keydumper for those pesky H-models too
