ilfabius wrote:Friends I have a problem,
I did downgrade 55es8000 with Firmware 0000, then I loaded 2009.2 firmware.
Have disable OTN support.
I install samygo, but installation does not end, continuous infinite loop, error appears on TV

How can I fix?
Thanks ilfabius
Which method are you using? (E series? AFAIK It's more designed to work with non-downgradable E-5xxx/6xxx). Prefer "traditional" Skype root method on E-7xxx/8xxx, because downgrade allow you to revert to a fw version not blocking it:

Then there is "something wrong" with your TV

Maybe you should try different USB

I've tried different USB, made an additional partition on my tv recording hdd, set sleep , but still no chance.
I had root with 1119 and had to update my fw because of other issues ....
I think I give up!
thx a lot anyway

One more thing you might try is to open browser, load some page and then run the rooting app. Is the log any different ?

I can't believe it! Now I have root one time but access is gone after tv reboot
I think it is worth to try a little bit more
Here is my samygo picture while I have tried to root one more time:

It shows that rooting worked. Do you have telnet access on port 5023? Running browser should make it work

Also don't use WLAN connection
