Can the problems be related with the fact that the TV was already rooted, but I forgot to turn off automatic updates so I was on FW1120 (=no root anymore)?

You should never, ever unplug rooting usb while TV is ON
It most definitely broke everything
You added the "while TV is on" right now, I thought the first post meant you shouldn't remove the USB while rooting

Yeah start from scratch
First prepare USB (your files are broken now) and then continue trying until you get GREEN at /mnt/rcSGO. Then don't touch anything and contact me here

Problem is that I can't start the rooting app on TV without unplugging the USB (I have to plugin the USB in the "More Apps" screen). Tried restarting, but didn't work.
