Hi and welcome,
I bought my telly ju7500 with latest 1460 soft update, but for any case I blocked all traffic on my router iptables.
In future, when rooting become possible for this soft version (thanks for your hard work guys - any ETA? ;) ) I will unblock only one or maybe two ip's which will allow fresh ECM's stream ;).
I'm lucky as I don't need any netflix and similiar services- using it as pc monitor mainly and sometime watching satellite tv.

I could post a video, you'd still find some conspiracy... Not time for K yet anyway. First J :)

Can't you wait for Christmas to get your toy? :P

Well, it felt a bit behind, but better late than never... No, we never given any deadline, and we don't have to justify ourselves anyway. There's no real "progress" anymore, now the point is to make "J root" work on "all J" (not only your TV/fw...)
Btw, libAirToSat J/K is ready, did it last month. About TV global slowness, found nothing yet, I guess it's normal Tizen behavior, looks you're impatient there too :)

Yes, this could solve a lot of headaches. But only for those, who have already rooted.

@zoelechat (and others) - just curious - is there an easy way to port all your work for SamygoSO done for non Tizen TVs to the new series, or do you basically have to write the plugins from scratch (e.g. different functions. different paramters)? Maybe Samsung was lazy and reused most of the older code?

Well, arch remains the same so there are similarities, but we're closer to everything from scratch. Main difference is that shitloads of small apps/bins/libs have to be handled where pre-Tizen (="Orsay" platform btw) had only 1 or 2 "big exe", so everything has to be thought differently. Interesting point is that it looks more like a *real* linux whereas we were used to sth "headless".
In the principle it helps to have developed on former platform, but no "easy port" is possible and almost no function is common (and not at the same place nor accessed the same anyway). Back to the beginning, hence "eternity" :)

Bullshit. As with (almost) ALL rooting techniques developed by as part of SamyGO project fw update starts BEFORE SamyGO so forget about "blocking on TV" :)
