S'nce you don't have kernel driver that compatible with 2.6.18, you cannot use that driver.
But If you back port the driver code to make it compatible with 2.6.18, than you can use that dongle too :)
but this will require much more effort than a USB dongle thats for 20 bucks :)

You welcome.
I previously created this wiki page for describing what to do.

In near future, I wish to add wifi application for starting wifi devices via Content Library.

THanks

I don't understand what you mean with BD Player. This hack only allows your TV make connections via NoN-Samsung Branded wifi dongles... So there is nothing to do with BD players, etc...

But with it you can also play movies from your Samba (windows)/NFS shares via WiFi USB Dongle... Please look at wiki how to do.

Theoretically, you BD player uses DLNA to connect TV right? If it's true, than B series TV could work with your Samsung BD PLayer.

Here we are only changing WiFi driver, which is SAME driver as samsung uses but we add some ID's to make your Wifi dongle compatible with this TV, thats all.
When your WiFi dongle recognized by TV, than you can connect to internet and could create any other network connections with B series TV.
IF your BD player has ethernet output and could connect to TV via ethernet cable (by router) without problem, than you can use this WiFi hack to make it wireless.

There is no "additional software" required for hack but alternative WiFi drivers for your TV (I think they are not count as additional SW) that makes your WiFi dongles working.
I believe if your WiFi dongles recognized by tv, than you can watch movies via your BD player. But actually we don't try them before.

Yes, you can do it via Advaced Mode script detailed on
