I have sometimews the problem, that the hack the USB Stick don't found.

When I start the SmayGo Autostart out of the SMartHub it works or I turn off the TV an the,, turn on the TV an its works...
I think the TV is sometimes slower to read the USB Stick. When we write a wait time after the autostart in the programm then must the mistake fixed!
Is there a solution?
Did the problem appear with "100% working" fw 1122.2? :D
On non-MST it seems adding some delay to autostart widget can do the job
prairie wrote:sorry, that was a typo, the rcSGO file is in /mnt Anyway I had a lot of trouble getting an edited script to run (maybe it was my ftp that was screwing it up) so I ended up finding a different solution. I changed the main.js in the auto_start app to have two timeouts, one for usbtest() (set to 2000 ms) and the another (100 ms) for the other steps. This works very well giving the thumb drive some extra time to be availble and then zooming through the other bits.
@prairie
Could you share your Main.js please? I may add this case to first post :)

I have an F6470, MST Firmware 2102 (Thats all i know, got this tv from a friend.)

I used the MST method and created the stick.
I have tried it for several hours now. Not working for me.

* Disabled OTN in Service Menu
* Resetted SmartHub
* TV Factory Reset via Service Menu
* Inital Channel Search an SmartHub Setup
* Insert Stick
* Start SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix from SmartHub Menu
* Hack seems to work => See Attached Screenshot
* Reboot
* No FTP(21), not telnet(23).
* No new entires in Smarthub, SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix still existing.
* Start SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix again => same results.

Any Ideas?

Your TV is rooted correctly. The problem is with USB. Did you try rooting it over lan? It looks like you might have been using WLAN connection. Also you should try another usb. The one you are using now might be "to slow" :)

* I am using Cable connection.
* Tried 3 different USB-Sticks( on of them is USB3 with 200 MB/s read)
* Tried all 3 USB ports.
* Tried to restart TV more often.

Should i see the root on TV itself, if it was successfull? I am new to this :)
Currently i am using filezilla client with 99 retries to check if root is enabled.
Also trying from my firewall to connect to TV in case my Computer blocks connection. Still no connect:
[2.2-RC][root@pfsense.weltmeyer.local]/root: ftp test@192.168.60.81
ftp: Can't connect to `192.168.60.81:21': Connection refused
ftp: Can't connect to `192.168.60.81:ftp'
ftp>
My TV has IPV4:192.168.60.81/24

Edit:
The TV is definitive reachable, testet port 80 (TV seems to have little HTTP server..?)
[2.2-RC][root@pfsense.weltmeyer.local]/root: telnet 192.168.60.81 80

@cloudmeyer

Try to replace SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix/data/data.zip with that one:
data.zip
and restart rooting procedure from scratch.
You may also do a smarthub reset, or even factory reset before retry, especially if you used to use public rooting method.

Thank You!
I will try this as soon as i am back at home.
Only difference is the sleep 30 in rcsgo?
Good to know that this is the init-script for samygo :)

Yes, as advised in first post in case of "occasional" root. Now "sleep 30" is simply added before installation instead of after :)

How can I do this? That the widget start a little bit later?

TV is the F8090!

Yeah on the same principle as "sleep 30" in rcSGO on MST, some delay(s) should be added somewhere in /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO_AutoStart/JavaScript/Main.js on non-MST, that's why I asked @prairie if he could share his already modded file which did the job...
