PVR+ 1.2 changelog is quite short:

• * French language [thanks to steve-austin]
  * activating telnet daemon before starting user's scripts (works with some firmwares only)
  * updated user's manual (PL)

You can download it soon: today, I hope (it is ready for uploading).

Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to the recording container. It depends on firmware's functions. PVR+ only calls these built-in functions. So, to watch some recordings you still have to use any kind of external software tool like VLC.

Just use Samba/NFS share... It's comfortable.
