Sad news. After experiments I've trashed SH script in /mtd_rwarea/usb_mount, so USB no longer works on my TV. As we on C550 can't load widgets - there is no simple way to reanimate USB. So now I'm looking for a different way to hack C550 - maybe via exlink cable there would be command like "format mtd_rwarea partition" :(

Thank you for the VALDEUC v10 and v10 with vusb
They both work fine but sometimes 1 out of 15 samba is not started (also in v8).. already played with sleep 9 in rcSGO
I have to restart 32c6800 and than its ok.. so just a minor problem -- maybe some timing
try to put a sleep into samba init file
in line after

Code: Select all

. /dtv/SGO.env
robvb wrote: Can you explain what is the point of the created virtual sdb in second v10
maybe somebody find an other way to start scripts on tv (not from hotplug script) and then the next stuff for what people cry is "why i need to put an usb stick into tv"
robvb wrote: I would like to integrate netsurf to the tv . maybe you have some suggestions for c-series
if somebody fix the framebuffer driver so full mapping works...
for now just direct dump and write from/to fb0 is implemented, same way as people for lg tv did it (for b series, don't know about funktion on c types)

Doing a Factory Reset and/or reflashing the latest original firmware doesn't solve your problem?

Factory reset does nothing with /mtd_rwarea
Firmware upgrade does not work because of unresponding USB slots...

But mamaich has discovered how to get in to TOP debug menu! This is auspicious discovery...

But he can still try to reflash from the network (RJ45 port).

problem is, that shell input is limited to 0-9, A-F, Backspace, ENTER. input of "/" is needed to execute such operations...

I meant that he can try to reflash the original firmware from the TV menu, by selecting Internet instead of USB.
