I have successfully re-rooted my TV again after a deliberate firmware upgrade, and my TV is now more stable than it was, when it was rooted the before the upgrade. However, I do have one issue that causes crashes and reboots. If I activate my DVD player, the TV will switch over to EXT input source, and after a few minutes, the TV will reboot. I am not sure if it just will do it once, or keep rebooting. I have not tested this for a longer time period. After I have switched back to the normal TV tuner, the TV will sometimes also reboot once and then remain stable. My DVD player is connected to the TV via a SCART cable.
I don't think I have seen this issue before. It did not occur before the latest rooting. I also don't think it occurred the last my TV was rooted, before the firmware upgrade. However, I am not completely sure, since my TV was generally much more unstable at that time.
Why would the EXT input source cause a crash and reboot of the TV? It does not make sense. I am not messing with the software in any way. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Did you disable 'watchdog' in service menu? (surely re-enabled by fw upgrade, even if you previously did it, as well as OTN/OTA support)

No, but I have tried to disable the watchdog before. I will not touch it again. As I remember, the TV stopped responding correctly to the remote control. But I have at least set Menu->System->General->"Samsung Instant ON" to OFF. Both OTN and OTA were re-enabled after the firmware upgrade, but I quickly changed them to OFF.

Maybe you should try again though, it really looks like watchdog behavior

As I wrote, I used this file to update my TV (was 2111 or something like that). I don"t know, if you can downgrade with this file, but what about to try it? Especially, when you have newer, at least some try will be nice..
