There will be an update for the PVRDecoder, intoducing a new "dynamic mode" decoder plugin from sectroyer, that is supposed to perform better on the H-models.
But as I have become afflicted by massive amounts of reallife work, I am very effeciently precluded throwing time and ressources into a "hobby pet project".
Except in weekends and holidays .. Be patient. It will take me some time still.

I can`t connect samygopvr decoder (and cyberduck) with Samsung ue32es6710 (T-MST10PDEUC-2004.1) and I installed samygo , when i enter the widget it says : Samygo Installed! Press return to exit. Here is the log of samygo pvr decoder:

Expected, because rooting method you've used doesn't work on (too recent) fw 2004.1

Hi,

I rooted my UE40H6270 (T-MST 14DEUC-2120.0), can connect to ftp and telnet, but have the following problem decrypting recordings:
- I start decoding in PVRDecoder
- Decoding begins and I see a progress being reported, e.g.:

  Starting the decoding process on TV
  Waiting for TV to produce progress feedback
  Retrieved 37,88 Mb of 6,10 Gb .. Time spend: 00:00:04 .. Average speed: 75,75 Mbit/sec.

- Then, before the hole file is retrieved, the transfer stops and the program wrongly claims:

  Retrieved 6,10 Gb of 6,10 Gb ..
  File successfully retrieved.

- However, decoding continues on the TV and finishes, so the complete TS file can be downloaded with an FTP client
- Note that I have enough disk space on my TV-USB-stick and on my PC-HDD.

- Edit: I'm running Windows 8.1, TV is connected via GB-Lan through a router.


Any ideas how to fix this?

You are experiencing a buffer-underrun, due to the CPU-power of your TV is inadequit to keep
the parallel download-FTP-stream of the file "happy".

This is reported by the internal FTP-server of the TV as an EOF (end-of-file)

This situation was thought to never occour by the original design of the decoder-plugin running on the TV.
The solution is to either a) Serialize decoding and download, or b) improve speed of decoding-plugin.

I have a "private" beta-version you may test, that offers BOTH solution (a) and (b).
First try to increase the buffer-count (in settings), and if that still does not solve your problem,
only then force serializing ... Serializing is much slower ... but is buffer-underrun-safe.

Your diagnoses was correct. Thank you for the explination and the quick fix.

The beta version worked flawlessly with a buffer value of 200. Serialized decoding/transfer I have not tested, but I find this to be a nice option. This will also work as an easy way to decode files to the usb stick and, if you have a slow network, you can just stop the network transfer and copy the files from the usb stick (if you can read linux fs).

force serializing: off
buffer-count set to 700 and it works.
Generate setting below 700 crash or reboot TV.
