Says sth like it is dirty ect and take out the disc (even the originals).I would explain all the procedure i have made. 1st step did the rooting, successfully, then in cinavia, when i think i made some mistakes. DO i have to run samygo app again with the new .sh file?and then after restart i just run browser?Also bluray player is not connected to the internet.
Reboot device and DON'T run browser :) Run browser ONLY if you want to play cinavia protected content :) This is known issue on F Blurays :)
Everytime i want to play cinavia disc, i have to run samygo app?or just the browser?If i don't run browser cinavia exists.
THIS IS A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM WHERE THE PLAYER CANNOT READ DISKS (DVD OR BLURAY) AFTER ROOTING AND USING CINAVIA PATCH

Finally, with help of sectroyer, i found a solution to my problem. My bluray is bd-f6500 (f series). After rooting the device, and following the cinavia patch instructions, the cinavia protected files (mkv, mp4, avi videos) were playing successfully(no cinavia message) but the dvd-bluray disks were not readable. Even the original ones. The solution to that problem is to replace the file named 'samyext4.img' (which is inside the folder 'SamyGO_data') with a another file (anything you want, for example an empty file 'New Text Document.txt') and name this new file as 'samyext4.img'. After following the root method (open smarthub or browser, a method to trigger telnet to work), I managed to run cinavia protected blurays and files (mkv, mp4, avi) with 'no cinavia message'. A lot of thanks again to sectroyer.
I have the same problem with reading discs and tried to replace the samyext4.img file but when i do this i can no longer connect with telnet, i am sure i am doing something simple wrong if anyone can help please.

No this is expected. It was only temporary fix for cinavia on bluray DISKS :)

I have a bd-f5900 and finally i have both root and cinavia patches worked out but whenever i put any disc in the player after rooting it will not play and says dirty disc etc, this happens even if i put an original store bought blu ray disc in. If i unplug the player and restart without root etc it plays the discs but obviously cinavia is back too. Does anyone have any help please?

Hi zoelechat,
Thanks for the help.

I ran the command via Telnet:

root@tv:~ # /mtd_rwcommon/SamyGO_mount/etc/init.d/99_99_CinaviaPatch.init start
checking /dtv/usb/sda1
checking /dtv/usb/sdj
Cinavia patched at : @0x00d21f94 and @0x00d23434.
root@tv:~ #

But, when I go to All Share to play the movie I get the Cinavia stop after 3-4 minutes. "The content being played..."

What am I doing wrong?

Please disable auto start and post log of running:

Code: Select all

/tmp/cinaviapatch -d -n exeDSP
.
(of course first copy the patch to /tmp/.)
Does the cinavia appear than? On what device is cinavia protected content? USB, NAS? :)

hi sectroyer,

Code: Select all

root@tv:/tmp #     /tmp/cinaviapatch -d -n exeDSP
pc=4206b4dc lr=4206b4c8 sp=beaaf0a8 fp=4cd6f54
r0=fffffe00 r1=80
r2=1 r3=0
symbol: adbg_CheckSystem -> @0x022c92a8
Patched adbg_CheckSystem at @0x022c92a8
symbol: _Z13AWM_AudioMutev -> @0x00d21f94
symbol: _Z14SendEventToAppb -> @0x00d23434
Cinavia patched at : @0x00d21f94 and @0x00d23434.
Patching completed!

A few minutes in and the following appears:
"Playback stopped. The content being played is protected by Cinavia and is not authorised for playback on this device. For more information, see htto://www.cinavia.com. Message Code 1."

Cinavia protected content is a .mkv on a USB drive.

Thanks sectroyer
