there and relaunch rooting widget.
Factory reset/restart from scratch with modded file might help too.
after a little work break, i'm back
i replaced the data.zip, with the one you linked (120s-problem solved), did a factory-reset and tried again.
unfortunatly still no sucess. now samygo_ok is always a "NO"...
restarted the app serval times, waited for minutes, restarted the tv, tried various reset/restart-comintations, did a lot of waiting in between, but no improvment.
with pvrdecoder still no access, no matter which telnet-port i try...
any furhter leads?
help

What does a missing /mnt/rcSGO have to do with a bad USB, when all the other files are written to USB?
One thing I should have added is that I have tried at least five, also recent USB sticks, formatted FAT, FAT32, even NTFS (I know I shouldn't), but the results are always the same.
And why would the TV turn off after 120 seconds?

Everything. Lack of /mnt/rcSGO (and having all other files created on USB) is sure sign of problems with mounting 128mb samyext4.img

You should check a "debug" version of run.sh file which I posted on this forum ("few" posts earlier

) which writes a log on usb itself
@zoelchat maybe it's good idea to move this debug to first post?
