Hi everyone heard great things about SammyGO, very happy to join. Can anybody offer any thoughts on why this root method isn't working for me?
My TV Info

Of course it's very simple you did NOT disable OTN Support and did NOT block updates on router. In first posts it's CLEARLY explained that you are REQUIRED do so to have root

So simply NO DISABLE = NO ROOT

Hello. I have several questions before approaching to the root process. I'm on FW 2606.2, should I use this thread's newer method? Then is it needed to downgrade to 2130? at least to extract encryption key for media playback, or edit some video "SOURCE" entries.
Now I'm a bit lost on two contradictory (or not) steps. Should I do the "recording USB" step between steps 5 and 6? Then it asks to go to smart HUB (I thought it was kind of automatic process when TV was powered ON).
And at last, is it required to have the root USB permanently plugged in order to use the TV (for example with working edited "SOURCES")?
PD: What logs do you need for step 18 (in case they are needed). The ones in step 12 or in step 13? In case of 13, can we thrash those of step 12?

If you don't need skype root (old and very fast - with USB3.0 you have root after 20sec. in new firmware you will have root more or less after 90sec.)
Now better is downgrade the FW with 0000 firmware
viewtopic.php?f=75&t=10137 you have to downgrade to 0000 by USB and then download from internet a file with firmware for example with 2130.0 and then make a root by Skype
In both root mothod you will need USB stick inside yout TV all of the time when TV i ON.

"If you don't need skype root"
Well, that's basically my question, do I need skype root?
"Now better is downgrade..."
Better for what
"you will need USB stick inside yout TV all of the time when TV i ON"
When TV is ON.... for what, for TV to power ON?
