It appears there is an option to downgrade J series firmware by installing hacked 0000 version(nullified) firmware from USB stick - https://yadi.sk/d/jM_jtM9fmYaB3 and afterwards installing needed version.

Some examples:

Has anyone tried this?

Pls be quick :)
P.s. there are feedbacks. Installation may be tricky after downgrade to zero firmware. Some users report they had to repeat push upgrade many times until process starts normally ( up to 20 times). Else gui does not start upgrade and drops back to previous menu.

But yes, there are users who report about successful downgrade. No feedbacks on our forum. Use on your own responsibility.

A few weeks ago changed my server from the production to the development one for sw upgrades. I was using the 40.8 since mid december. Much better and faster than the initial FW-s. Now I'm on 48 and it is even faster than the 40. Boot time and menu lag about 30% better.

How do you measure that "better" and "faster" ? Yet another from samsung :)

With stopwatch...nope. By my feeling. With older FW-s I had to wait a couple second after boot till I can even reach menu, guide ..etc.
Now with 48 it is instant.

If you say so..do it...I just shared my experience, I never updated my old ones, but with J series I had to...this was crazy bad :(
I thought it is going to help somone who suffer from the same problem and do not want to wait. I was read only till this point..and after this conversation I'll go back to that
