hello, the worst case scenario happend to me ..

yes, i disabled automatic fw updates
no, in service menu is not possible to deactivate otn support
yes, i blocked in firewall, /etc/hosts and dnsmasq the domain samsungotn.net and msecnd.net

despite of all the TV updates the firmware to 1300 today.

sniffing with tcpdump and starting the update function in menu shows me that I had to block *.samsungcloudsolution.net to disable completly the software update.

But now what i can do to downgrade to 1280 to get root access?

Perhaps all of this is not nessesary .. my intention to root the tv is to get the decrypion key to convert my tv-recordings. If there is a better way without doing all this stuff please tell me, you're welcome. If it is ok you can answer in german it will be easier for me.

From what we know, T-GFSDEUC>1280 were still rootable (they're not T-GFP). No idea about 1300 though...

ok .. I was not sure and thought that is not possible .. where I can find a tutorial/manual to get root access i would like to try with 1300?

nevertheless .. has someone the T-GFSDEUC-1280 firmware and would be so kind to share this? I would like to have a copy .. thanks a lot.

You first need root to downgrade...

Hi all,
got the same Problem with 1300 Firmware.
I tried to downgrade via usb stick, but the 1300 firmware seams not to allow a down-/upgrade via usb.
There is no Option for that only online upgrade is available.
Any ideas on that?

I was able to downgrade my T?GFSDEUC-1300.2 after I rooted the 1300.2

(with the Skype method and an LAN cable)
