Just another way and app to enter Extended Service menu (factory+3speed) from smartfone. I tested with Samsung Galaxy S4. Another devices with built IR should work also

Hidden factory mode from Extended Service Menu & Service Menu. Before you press 4 x "?" in ..... just make some pictures from settings you will see, because of NEED HELP I "FCUKed UP" in service menu . And maybe there are more hidden entries with another key input .

Tested on Xiaomi Mi5 (Android 6). It works fine. After 4 years, finally changed the local set of my smart tv ... (series D though).

this apk just seems to install spam on my phone does someone have the actual apk available to sideload ?

I think it opens extended service menu while you are in normal service menu.

If you have a root then you use perfect app the libFactory by zoelechat with new args ENTERMENU and EXITMENU.

UE65HU7500XXH - downgraded to firmware 000.0 - whenever I go into normal service menu, then send s3 using this app, screen just flashes red/green/blue/white, which I think is because the app is sending it too fast to the tv and the tv is interpreting it as "factory" - sending s2 gets back to normal. any ideas how to get s3 correctly working for my tv? thanks
