Is it possible to root and install cccam on this tv?

hi, ive blocked router update addresses and turned off otn updates in service menu. Do I need to downgrade tv firmware to apply root? Followed instructions in donator forum, cant get samy go file to show up in smart hub! Formatted usb to fat (only gives ex-fat option) could this be the problem? Any advice appreciated,cheers!

firmware version 2014 link is dead, got firmware 2003.4 downloaded, would that work too?

It wouldn't work with 2014, it has to be "less than". 2003 is fine, there's no difference between firmwares anyway, except root blocking stuff.

Ok thanks. Before I go ahead, do you know if existing apps will work and be re-downloaded? Family do use Netflix and plex apps quite a lot. Would be good to know positives and negatives of rooting the tv.

About apps, I don't know, I don't use Smarthub crap except for rooting purpose
About advantages of rooting, check E/F software sections for all patches you could be able to use. Negatives: none.
