Some of you may know that support for Skype on Samsung SmartTV's ends on 6/2/16, making our Samsung webcams useless. My question is this: has anyone been able to use the Samsung camera with any other app that Skype, such as Oovoo, or something similar? Or, do we need to wait to see if Samy will write a new app that might work with the camera?

They won't become useless, Samsung is already using it everyday to watch you

That's why I always keep the shutter turned off unless I'm using it

You can use it for motion control.
