I prefer PVR+ method, but there is app for this (only for test).

0x77 KEY_77_##_ENERGY_TOGGLE - Energy saving toggle: Off/Low/Medium/High/Auto. On B650 it seems to work also in media player
Maybe for you this will be work, but for me this app doesn't work.
