Hey,

my Samsung UE48H6470 is restarting the whole time when the lan cabel is connected... without Internet it works fine... WLAN same problem...
I can see the normal tv programm, but the remote controls dont work... after 10 sec RESTART...
Installed Version: 2820
Any Idea?

I have the same problem since today.
Maybe samsung delivered a buggy firmware update.
Wouldn't be the first time.
I hope this will get fixed soon.
Its difficult to watch netflix without an Internet connection...

Same here. I've got UE40H6400. Friday the TV was working perfectly, whole Saturday was powered off(standby) and today when I've turned it on I was getting constant boot loop. I've disconnected everything (HDMIs, LAN, USB) and the boot loop was still there - as soon the Smart Hub pops up in the bottom left corner the tv was rebooting. After maybe 10-15min of reboots I saw the "No signal" message flying around and I quickly went to the main menu > support > self diagnostic > reset. After the initial setup I've put the LAN cable back and BAM reboot again.
Now without being connected to the internet the TV is working fine.

Probably Samsung has screwed something but I think it is not new firmware because my TV hasn't received updates recently. My current fw version is 2820.1 - everything is stock, no root no noting.

exactly the same things happening to me, starting from 2016.06.26.

Last night the TV was ok, this morning my son watched cartoons on sat tv, then I have turned it off.

Next time arounf 2 pm I turned it on and the restarts are just happening. Cannot watch the tv, remote is not response just one or 2 cliks

I do not know that there was a firmware upgrade during the morning or night, as I was not watching the all the time.

I have tried to remove the samsung webcam, the CI module but the same just happening.

1 out of 35 attempts it boots up but its random , and I have catched the menu and done the reset under the support menu - but NO LUCK. The same sh*t is happening. If this was caused by firmware upgrade than we are screwed. How can we fix this with normal firmware?

I have not tried it without internet connection - I only have WIFI on tv ...


UPDATE_01: I have disabled WIFI on router and BAAM no restarts on TV, just with internet connection, probably the login on samsung account is messed up ...

Maybe block updates on router ?

TV was rebooting every 30 seconds etc. unless I unplugged LAN cable and disabled Wi-Fi. Tried a factory reset, manually applying firmware etc., no joy but eventually disabled HDMI-CEC Anynet as mentioned in this article. Fixed it straight away.

Let's hope Samsung release a proper hotfix ASAP.

the same with my samsung UE75H6475 from 26.6.2016 bootreloop all 20 sec. no remotcontrol funktion.instabile operatingsystem...
i was reading lot in internet and i disconect wlan. and conect with cable to router...
nothing change....still same prob...

then i take powerplug out for 2 hours and woundering MY TV WORKS AGAIN like normal....
i hope i can help anybody with this.

I've spoken with the Samsung support and they assured me that the issue should be fixed in the next 48h and there will be no need of updating the firmware.

They are magicians. BTW, I wonder what they are testing will not be required update the FW.

My guess is that they've messed up something with server components of the Smart Hub app, and when the servers are reachable and responding properly the app will work without causing the TV to reboot. Just guessing though.
