46ES7500 no picture only sound

Hi,
I have had my 46ES7500 for little over 4 years now. One day when we switched on the TV, could hear only sound but no picture, not even a light grey on the screen. The only thing that is new to our usage is that we purchased an Amazon FireStick a while back and we were using it extensively connected over HDMI port. Not sure if it has to do anything with that, just throwing it out there. Any help or insight into this issue will be very helpful.
P.S I am not a newbie to tech, I have a descent experience working with telnet/SSH etc etc, so any suggesitons along those lines to gather logs is also welcome
