Hallo all.
I am from Germany and looking for a possibility to play US DVDs on my Samsung BD-D5500.
Unfortunately changing the regioncode to 0 did not work, due to Firmware 01025.
Thats why I want to downgrade my Firmware to 01015 to make it codefree.
The DNS trick doesnt seem to work anymore - is there an IP from 2016?
Btw, whats happening when I change the DNS of my device?
There must be some kind of ftp-server running which is providing the 01090 ( 01015) File.
Anyone knows howto setup such a ftp server?
Anyone has the appropriate file?
Or at least tell me a working DNS-IP?

Meanwhile i used the DNS 46.101.161.175.
I got the error code 400 - sonething like " Invalid parameter. The latest software is not yet available"
I reset my DNS to auto and gonna try again later this week.
I hope the 01090 (01015) firmware will help me to make the player codefree for DVDs by pressing some keys on the remote.
(REPEAT key, ......., key 9)
Can anyone confirm that this is possible with the 01090 firmware?
What else can I do to update to 01090?
