Is there a way to have this wifi dongle working on my ue40es6100 smart tv since internal wifi adapter is failing?
Internal wifi module stopped working - already replaced it once - and tried to use this dongle instead but when launching network config tv won't see usb adapter. Maybe disconnecting internal wifi module from motherboard will help?
Accessing service menu and changing something? Which parameter in that case?

I think you have to change value in service menu (Control-> Sub Option)

Tried with ext only wifi but with no success

And what about "Ext-Wifi"?

No such option on my tv ext only wifi and int wifi only...
I'm not sure to be honest, I'll check it as soon as I go back home

Ok so I will try and tell you. Frankly I'm a little bit afraid when messing around with service menu...Thank you very much indeed.

No need to be afraid, just keep in mind to NEVER press left/right unless you want to change some value
Otherwise I think it's worth the try, even if imho the best solution in such case is to use ethernet port with some wifi/ethernet bridge you can find for much cheaper than shamefully-overpriced-guenine-Samsung-dongle.

Tried with wifi ethernet bridge I own and use with myskyhd decoder and it works recognized as cable network. I already have usb wifi dongle and I use it with samsung newer smart tv which is wifi ready only so no worry about giving it a try...
Anyway I just bought used wifi internal module on ebay for 35 euros shipping included but I wanted to know further options in case wifi module fails once more...

Tried ext wifi...it works like a charm!
