Banner on main page

Hi all,
I think I can add adSense to just main page. I read SF policy and realized that they started to allow banners at web pages... SF doesn't allow such a thing years ago...
With it, I could buy some gadgets (like DTS sound system for just researching purposes
) or could easily offer bounty for any topic/research on some waiting problems easily ( DTS pass-through ). Domain fee could paid from that. Also it's good to have google search option at main page because phpBB forums search engine is not useful. I can't find anything when I wanted.
I believe users & members will not became restless because of this.
If you have anything on your mind,makes you unhappy, than could talk here...
