If we add BT support, than I think BT mouse and keyboard has a priority over wiimote. 
Personaly I don't see how this is better than bt mouse and keyboard. Maybe only exception for fps game.
"Hacked" way infrared pointer is not standard, maybe good for select things, but definietely not good for mouse replacement.
If you really like use virtual keyboard, please from today writing into this forum using virtual keyboard.
