Which method/procedure is the right one (or the best) for C Series hacking?

Hello to all. After reading and reading how to hack my LE40C650 (with T-VALDEUC-3003.0 firmware) I've found three posible methods in the C Series Wiki:
1) Universal USB disk to hack C series TV, see Hacking TV over Hotel mode (most C series models):
https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title= ... es_models)
2) Hack over Hotel Mode without USB disk (most C series models):
https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title= ... es_models)
3) USB disk to hack C series T-VALDEUC-3009.2, see Hacking TV over Hotel mode (C650 T-VALDEUC-3009.2):
https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title= ... UC-3009.2)
As I could see method 1 and 3 use 1GB file network_opt_18.02.2011_sda2.img but it seems this file is not available anymore. Is this happening because the safest way to hack the television is method 2 and that file was deleted due a security reason? I was going to use method 1 or 3 because they seem easier to me. Thanks for reading me
.

Use rooting widget. Your firmware is ok for that. So none of three methods

Hello. Where is the link for that procedure? I've been checking the features comparitson (
https://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php?title= ... Comparison) of those methods and does it have coldplug, webinterface, channel editor, Busybox, FTP, SMB, NFS and/or cron like the other three methods?

Nope, this generic Internet@TV hacking does not offer any additional features out from the box (you can add them later...), but this kind of method is safest.

My primary goal is to mount network shared folders (SMB in an external hard rive connected to a router which is connected to the television). What I would need is to automount this drive (in the "Sources" box with the other HDMI inputs) when television is powered on. Would be this possible with generic Internet@TV hacking?

Yes. With additional scripting. But you can find everything in corresponding topic. Believe me, someone already did what you need.

OK juusso. The problem is I've been reading for days these three methods and other documentation like wikis from C and D series but I am not able to find the related topic you are talking about. Could you share it please? I've been searching on the forum and found this three links:

Thanks in advance.

all you need to know for the manual method (without pre-made image) is described in the wiki page you already found, just follow the instructions closely and youre good to go.

Thank you beatfreak, the problem is I don't know which of the three links I posted is the right one:
