Hi,

regarding the firmware rooting of > 1480 is possible. My Samsung UE58J5250 runs at version 1149 (the last upgrade was maybe February or May).
Hopefully, I can root my device, donate some money isn't a problem for me.

Firmware-version: 1149
Model: Samsung UE58J5250

Is rooting on my device possible?
maybe I have to downgrade my firmware via USB-stick or over rs232?
And why is my firmware version so old? (maybe a discounted product?)
