Same audio from both outputs is all that I can expect from single tuner and, by chance, it's already what TV does natively.

Whole family is happy (even if eyes hurt in stretched PAP)

Never experienced any dual tuner's, so not easy to know...

One more interesting thing I wonder from the beginning: if upgrading only OneConnect Box (->Mini, containing tuner(s) but NOT mainboard) from single tuner KS7000 turns it into dual tuner (=KS8000)

Ok, in the series "do it yourself if you want it to be done", I confirm that plugging OneConnect Box of KS8000/8500/9000/9500 turns your KS7000/7500 into dual tuner model. Might be worth a <50 bucks (even less if you sell original box at the same price then ) upgrade for who's interested...
