UN55FH6030 Help

Hi, a friend recently gave me a UN55FH6030 tv and I'm struggling with it. When the TV boots, it boots with full brightness and the TV looks great. After a second or two it flickers and the backlight becomes very dim. I turned off all eco sensors, dynamic contrast and Motion lighting but the problem persists. Also I noticed that whenever I change the 3D presentation the screen become fully bright again then it flickers and becomes dim.
After researching, I saw that adjusting the PWM can be a potential fix. I was able to access the service menu and when I press 0000 while hovering over the "Advanced" tab two new options come up. These options are "Picture 2D" and "Picture 3D" respectively. I know that to alter the PWM value I need to get into "Picture 2D" but the setting is greyed out and inaccessible. Any ideas/fixes for these issues?
I attached a picture of the screen to show you how dim it is.
