Hi, I just got a used UN49MU6500 which is my first Samsung TV in a while. It's on the latest firmware 1290.3 at the time I got it. I couldn't get into the service menu with the smart remote because it does not have number keys. Is there a way?

I opened the service menu with mute 1 1 9 , with an old Samsung remote I had from an A series TV. But the up and down arrows don't do anything to select options! I tried the arrows on the old Samsung remote, the arrows on the new Samsung remote (after using the old remote to open the menu), and I even tried the rocker on the back of the TV itself!
I can select left and right on both remotes and the rocker, but without moving up and down, I can only turn the first option (hospitality mode) on and off. I mainly want to check the power-on-hour count.

Nevermind, got it. This is what I found out for anyone else having trouble:

I figured out it's mute 1 8 2 power. Additionally it must be typed slowly, the TV must be on an input with no signal, and even then I only have a 50% success rate. My unit is picky!
