New Tv with Samsung TV app and PVR

Hello,
I am looking to replace our UN55F7500 with a new Samsung that can download the Samsung TV plus app. We are located in the US.
Also I would like a model in which I can access the service menu and turn on the PVR - like I did for the current UN55F7500.
If I turn on the PVR, will I be able to record the Samsung TV plus channels or only the channels that come in free to air from the antenna?
Do you recommend any specific series or model?
